What is DM Now?

DM Now is an Instagram DM automation platform for creators, local businesses and brands. Eligible keyword comments, text story replies, live comments and inbound DMs can trigger configured responses. Matching, moderation, quotas, pacing and Meta acceptance determine delivery, and completed lead fields remain subject to consent and privacy duties.

Is DM Now free to start?

Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited automations with monthly application limits of 1,000 DMs and 1,000 new contacts, with no credit card required. Upgrade to Pro only when those application limits no longer fit.

Does using DM Now eliminate account risk?

No tool can eliminate account or policy risk. DM Now uses Meta’s official Instagram APIs, never asks for your Instagram password and does not provide cold-outreach features. You remain responsible for current Meta rules, eligibility, message content, frequency, consent and applicable law.

Will this get me flagged or shadowbanned?

DM Now uses Meta’s official API and only responds after an eligible interaction; it does not scrape, log in as you or cold-message strangers. That reduces automation risk, but no tool can guarantee reach or account outcomes. You remain responsible for Meta’s policies and the content and frequency of your messages.

How much does DM Now cost?

DM Now is free to start: the Free plan includes unlimited automations with 1,000 DMs and 1,000 new contacts per month. Pro is ₹499/$9 billed monthly or ₹2,999/$49 billed annually, and removes those application DM/contact limits while adding up to 1,000 AI replies per month, collaboration detection and comment/live moderation. Pro renews at the selected cadence until canceled.

How long does setup take?

For a simple keyword reply, setup is usually quick: connect an eligible Instagram professional account, choose a trigger and write the response. Account review and more complex flows can take longer.

What do I need to set up DM Now?

An Instagram professional account (Business or Creator). Sign up, connect Instagram through Meta’s official Business Login, select a supported trigger and write your reply. Setup time depends on Meta authorization and the complexity of your automation. DM Now never asks for your Instagram password.

Does DM Now work with personal Instagram accounts?

No — Meta exposes the required messaging capabilities to eligible professional accounts (Business or Creator). You can change account type in Instagram, but Meta authorization, permissions, account eligibility and review can affect whether and when the connection succeeds.

How does comment-to-DM automation work?

You choose a post (or all posts) and a keyword, for example “GUIDE”. When an eligible comment matches, DM Now can send the text or link you configured and optionally post your configured public reply, then save the sender as a contact subject to plan limits. Live-comment triggers are configured separately from post or reel scoping.

Can DM Now reply to story replies and live comments?

DM Now supports eligible text replies to stories and eligible live comments delivered through Meta’s API. It does not promise reaction-only, poll or sticker interactions. Configure their trigger words and replies separately, and treat delivery as subject to Meta’s eligibility and messaging windows.

What are AI replies?

AI replies are a connected-account Pro fallback for unmatched inbound DMs. The model uses the business facts you provide and a fixed response style, subject to a monthly user-wide allowance. AI is not a node inside the visual flow builder, can be wrong, and DM Now does not provide a conversation inbox; continue human replies in Instagram.

Does DM Now post content or follow people for me?

No. DM Now never posts, never follows or unfollows, and never messages anyone who hasn’t interacted with you first. It is a reply engine: it answers the comments, story replies, live comments and DMs your content already earns.

What happens when I hit the Free plan’s 1,000 DM limit?

Sending pauses until your monthly cycle resets or you upgrade — nothing is deleted, and your automations, contacts and flows stay exactly as configured. Pro removes the DM and contact ceilings entirely.

Can I cancel or change plans anytime?

Yes. Monthly and annual Pro subscriptions renew at the selected cadence until canceled. Billing sends cancellation to Dodo or Stripe according to the processor that owns the subscription. Access remains active through the paid period, and automations and contacts remain in the account.

Do you have an affiliate or referral program?

Every account gets a referral link in the dashboard so you can invite other creators and track verified signups. A paid affiliate commission program is not currently offered.

Who owns the leads and contacts DM Now captures?

You control the contacts and leads stored in your account. Eligible senders are saved as contacts subject to plan limits, and details collected by lead steps are stored as leads. Contacts can be exported. Account-deletion requests are handled through support under the timeline stated in the privacy policy.

How is DM Now different from ManyChat?

Both products can automate Instagram messaging. DM Now publishes its own Free and recurring Pro prices on the pricing page and focuses on Instagram-first workflows, lead capture and a storefront. Competitor features and prices can change; review the providers’ current official plan pages before choosing.

Is DM Now GDPR-friendly and safe for my audience’s data?

DM Now processes data needed to operate configured automations, including connected-account details and eligible interactions received through Meta’s API. It does not sell personal data. Disconnecting stops future automation for that account; existing data remains subject to the retention, legal exceptions and deletion-request process described in the Privacy Policy.
